Looking online for a Christmas tree I bumped into a last year’s picture of the most perfect Christmas tree every shoe addict can imagine! I was absolutely stunned by it and the whole idea of actually creating a tree inspired by Christian Louboutin’s iconic Pigalle spike-heeled pumps.
The fantastic window displays are work of StudioXAG creatives, which I think is a genius idea! The rotating tree is held together by a metalwork structure which draws on the shoe racks found in the designer’s atelier in Paris. The hero product which sits in pride of place atop the tree is one of the famous and fast selling, glitter and sparkly Sexy Strass 100mm Peep-toe pumps…which are around £2500! Ahhh I wish I owned a pair of those…
I’ve created my own Christimas tree based on what’s available right now during the festive season. As usual Charlotte Olympia is my favourite one as none of the other designers makes such a quirky and fun shoes 🙂
