Milan Fashion Week is over and I’m sure it’s going to be remembered for a long time, mainly because of the Moschino’s show. The new creative director Jeremy Scott has surprised everyone that day with his humorous and even ironic collection inspired my McDonald’s and Sponge Bob Square pants cartoon!
They’ve got fashion bloggers undecided; are they fugly (fashionably ugly) or are they ingenious? The wedge sneakers debuted over 2 years ago when Ash released their converse-inspired, black canvas shoe with white rubber wedge heel. But it was well known French designer – Isabel Marant who brought high top wedge trainers into the fashion forefront.
Quick edit from London Fashion Week 2014. My favourite collection – Tom Ford 🙂
New York Fashion Week is over and everyone is in London now. I had time to pick some of my favourite looks from the runways. We have seen lots of textured sweaters, capes, oversized coasts, beautiful gowns and of course furs.
Valentine’s Day is nearly here and I hope you will all get a big bunch of flowers and some nice presents. Whether it’s something you’ve been gusting for, box of chocolates or a romantic meal for two with bottle of champagne it doesn’t matter as long as you are happy.
Valentine’s Day is only few days away so as every self-respecting shoe blogger is required to do at this time of year: show you some heart on shoes of course and …a few wardrobe pieces which has caught my attention. Especially S/S14 Stella McCartney collection with hearts and lips patterns which are so cute.
Charlotte Olympia (again) was my prime choice as she has always some beautiful and intriguing ideas for shoes. Based around one of her most instantly recognisable styles, the shoe is covered in applique suede love hearts in several different pinky-red shades. They also come in nude colour or… if you prefer something black how about those lip patterned booties called ‘kiss me’ that you can wear with simple LBD? They seriously make a statement and they are bound to get anyone’s heart racing.
From top left corner: Stella McCartney lip and heart embroidered dress; Alice & Olivia red lip dress; Tory Burch heart earrings; Stella McCartney black embroidered clutch and jeweled shift dress; Charlotte Olympia heart detail pumps; Markus Lupfer sequin heart jumper; Lulu Guiness red patent clutch; Stella McCartney lips embroidered jumpers; Charlotte Olympia “Kiss me” pouch; Tory Burch set of cosmetic bags; YSL Cassandre small tassel bag; Saint Laurent lip print suit jacket dress.
Moon Boots were first created in the early 1970s by manufacturer Tecnica Group in Italy. They became a notable fashion trend throughout the 1980s and they came back in fashion few years ago again. Retro, warm, waterproof…
Interesting article about history of stiletto which came up few days ago on www.bbc.com website, well worth reading for anyone who is passionate about the high heels and would like to find out the whole story behind it 🙂 Ladies, get yourself a cup of coffee/tea and spend 5 minutes on it 🙂
I got a parcel today I have been waiting for over 3 weeks (nearly lost my hope it will ever arrive) and it just completely made my day. I found this calendar at the beginning of January and without a hesitation I’ve ordered myself one.
