A quick recap of MFW, there was so many great collections that I found it very hard to narrow it down. One of my favourites was without doubt – Dolce and Gabbana which is inspired by classic Italian maternity style. Their collection, Viva la Mamma was all about a celebration of motherhood. It featured grownup models along with babies, toddlers and children.

The red rose was the recurring motif which popped up in many dresses. Playing with symbols of femininity, brand classics were also present: the black lace pencil dresses, the trapeze-line shifts, the cardigans, all embroidered, printed and appliqued with jewelled roses and the words ‘I love you mother’ in English, French, Italian… The list goes on.  Whole collection was referencing to their beloved 1950s and 1960s tailoring. A truly amazing show!
